Our Board of Directors

Sonya Hunter:

Sonya Hunter resides in Ardmore, Ok with her husband Robbin, son Conner McDougall, and two step-sons Colton and Eli Hunter. My husband and I are the owners of Hunter Graphix and Sign Company in Ardmore, Ok. I graduated from Madill High School in 1995. I later completed Medical Transcription School in 2003.

Ever since the wreck happened, it has been my passion to start a non-profit organization. Until this tragedy happened in my life, I never realized the financial struggle it is to have a child with special needs. As a mother, I will go to the ends of the Earth to get my son the best possible care there is for him. God has blessed our lives tremendously through such a horrific tragedy. Our local communities have embraced us and continually give to our cause. We decided it was time to start paying that forward and help other families who have children with medical needs. We are excited about the future of Adam’s Cape and pray that God blesses it beyond all that we hope for!

For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Larry Stinson:

Larry Stinson is a Sales Representative for EJ, a manufacturer of Infrastructure Solutions. He and his wife Amanda live in Lone Grove, OK where they raise three wonderful boys, Dylan, Luke and Kaleb. He has a love for God, family and the outdoors. He is an active member of Mary Niblack Road Baptist Church where he teaches Sunday school and children classes as well as serves on multiple committee’s. He is honored to serve as a board member of Adams Cape. Being a part of this organization allows him a chance to work with others in giving back to the community. He desires to be able to help families during challenging times in remembrance of Chris and Adam, the precious lives that are the foundation of the beginning of this organization.

Erin Wlodarczyk:

My name is Erin Wlodarczyk. I reside in Ardmore, OK with my husband Wes Wlodarczyk and his two children, Hannah and Kaz. I’m one of the owners of a rehabilitation company called Prohab Therapy Specialists. We offer Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy to nursing homes, schools, home health companies and outpatient services at our clinics. I’ve known Sonya since 2002. I was with her the day her whole world changed. Being with someone through a tragedy of this magnitude puts a new perspective on everything around you. I’ve watched her struggles and her triumphs. Sonya and Conner wouldn’t be here today without the help of so many around her. The support of the community has been an amazing thing to witness. I’m passionate about the work that Adam’s Cape can and will do for other families because I’ve seen firsthand what helping another family in need can do and I want to be a part of making a difference in peoples lives.

Eric Holquin:

My name is Eric Holquin. I reside in Ardmore, OK with my wife Larissa. I am Vice President/Lender at BancFirst in Ardmore. I have known Sonya’s step-sister Tracy Conway for 18 years. I remember the day the accident happened and getting that call from Tracy. I know exactly what I was doing and where I was. I had only met Sonya one time but my heart just broke for her. Through this accident I have been able to get to know Sonya and the amazing Godly woman that she is. Watching Sonya and Conner go through this has opened my eyes to so many struggles that they have gone through just to give Conner the therapy and medical attention he needs on a day-to-day basis, not to mention the items needed to allow Conner to progress the way he has. I am continually amazed at the support of the community for this amazing family, and I am excited to see what Adam’s Cape can and will do for Conner and other families. I am so thankful and blessed that I will be able to be a part of this amazing journey.

Chris Hunter:

My name is Chris Hunter. I am a follower of Christ, leader of my family, and owner of Hunter Heat & Air. I have a wonderful wife, Nickie, 3 great kids, Brooklyn, Austin and Cole! We started Hunter Heat & Air in 2006 & have enjoyed building a business focusing on customer service and teamwork. We model our business plan after the scripture Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically, as something done for the Lord and not for men”. I am honored to be able to serve on the board for Adams Cape. I stand firm in the belief of Romans 8:28, That God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. I see this shining example in Sonya, Robbin and Conner! God is doing a mighty work thru their lives. Now with Adams Cape, we have the opportunity to help others in need & spread the lifesaving message of Jesus to others!

Denver Rushing:

Denver Rushing resides in Ardmore, OK with his wife Leah. He is a local optometrist and owner of Wells Vision & Laser Eye Center here in Ardmore, and Healdton Family Eye Care in Healdton, OK. Denver graduated from Madill High School in 1998, East Central University (Ada, OK) in 2002, with a major in biology, and Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) in 2007. Denver has worked and lived in the Ardmore area since graduating from optometry school. He is a past member of the Ardmore Lions Club and a current member of the Healdton Lions Club. Denver was also among the 2009 graduating class of the Greater Ardmore Leadership Program.

Growing up around Madill, OK Denver was able to form a close friendship over the years with the late Kris McDougall and his wife Sonya and their two boys, Adam and Conner. The loss of Kris and their son Adam was devastating to the entire community, but through works like Adam’s Cape and generous people and organizations all around their memory will go on to help so many others in need.

Kerri Tibbs:

My name is Keri Tibbs and I’m a lifelong resident of the Ardmore Area. Due to a tragedy in my sister in law’s family, I’ve seen firsthand the devastation and loss that these tragedies or sicknesses can sometimes cause. On the other hand, it’s through such events that I have also seen many miraculous wonders of a loving, faithful God; one of which is the remarkable outpouring of love and support from the community. I am incredibly honored to be a part of this extraordinary opportunity of not just seeing the workings of God’s hands, but actually getting to be the hands and feet of Jesus by being a part of Adam’s Cape.

Kim Davison

Kim Davison is originally from Bethany, OK but has lived in the Ardmore area since 2006. She is a dental hygienist and homeschooling mom of three incredible kids: Hallie, Logan, and Kamryn. Her husband, Todd, is the pastor of FusionFBC Ardmore where she currently teaches the 7th grade girls Sunday School class. Their oldest child was born with Down syndrome in 2001. Kim is familiar with the many services and specialized therapies that having a child with special needs requires. Kim has advocated for her daughter through SoonerStart, IEPs, DDSD waivers, and numerous physical and intellectual evaluations. She knows what it is like to have to drive a distance to receive the occupational, physical, and speech therapy that her child has needed over the years. Kim has a passion for families that have children with special needs and is honored to serve on the board of this great organization!
